Peace Over Disappointment

I was disappointed this week. You see, I had a hope. A deep heart hope, which ended with a resounding "NO." The details don't matter. I'm determined to not dwell. In the process, though, I was struck by the way God prepared me for the answer. The still quiet voice spoke to my heart earlier in the day and I knew. Believe me, it didn't stop the heartache, but the comfort of knowing God was part of the process brought me peace. Amazing.
