Today is December 26. The day after Christmas. (A moment of silence to reflect on another Christmas gone by . . .) Wow. The build up to Christmas borders on pandemonium - the mad rush of purchasing, creativity of wrapping, hand cramps from card writing, and cheek aches from smiling at parties. And then, in one day, it is all over.
I didn't get through my "to do" list. It's a Wonderful Life and White Christmas were not watched this year. Oh well. And Christmas Cards didn't get out to everyone on my list. There are, however, accomplishments to celebrate - Chocolate Pecan Pie set (first attempt in August was soupy), Acorn Squash Dish a success (new recipe), Breakfast Casserole tasty (another new recipe), traditional movie with the family watched (True Grit - Excellent film), and presents selected for family and friends were enjoyed (yeah! no returns).
